Arris, perhaps best known in Australia for its A$400 million deal to supply kit for the NBN HFC rollout, is targeting significant local expansion on the back of foundational relationships with NBN, Telstra and Foxtel. Ramping up headcount under newly promoted ANZ GM Joshua Eum, the vendor is now courting more RSP clients particularly as it guns for a share of the next-gen consumer premise equipment market, as well as continuing to execute in its networking and services businesses. Telstra CIO Erez Yarkoni is set to depart the firm in a matter of weeks to return to the US, after some eighteen months in the role.
